ROTARY DISTRICT AWARDS

The VJC Interact Club has clinched awards for all 5 community service projects that were submitted (1 Gold and 4 Silver) under Rotary District 3310 for 2018/2019 (for the period of Jul 2018 – Jun 2019). There are a total of 12 Rotary Clubs and 27 Interact Clubs in Singapore that are linked to the Rotary Club of Singapore (RCS). District 3310 comprises Brunei, Singapore and parts of Malaysia.

SMU HAMMERS DEBATE COMPETITION

The following teams have performed well at the SMU Hammers Debate Competition. 1st Runners Up Sean Wang (18S33), Jovan Poh (18A11), Joanne Lim (18S51); 2nd Runners Up Nikhita Nair (18S34), Kristen Fernando (19S36), Ma Xueqing (18A11). Well done!

NANYANG RESEARCH PROGRAMME (NRP) SYMPOSIUM

24 Victorians participated in the Nanyang Research Programme (NRP). They have done us proud and achieved 17 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards and 1 Bronze award. Congratulations to all students and teacher mentors!

SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE CHALLENGE

Our students took part in the Singapore International Science Challenge organised by National Junior College and the following students have performed admirably: Neo Wee Shi (18S43) Most Social Impact Award (Design and Build Challenge), Chua Wei Yu (18S31) Empathiser Award (Field Challenge), Neo Jia Hui (18S37) Best Sketchboard Award (Field Challenge) and 1st Runner Up Award (Design and Build Challenge). The Singapore International Science Challenge (SISC) is a biennial international event, conceptualized by National Junior College (NJC) since 2007, to bring together science students from around the world to compete, collaborate and innovate in science. The International Student Science Fair (ISSF) is an annual forum for budding scientists from schools across the world to display their inquiry skills, communicate their research, collaborate in innovation, and establish partnerships that enable endeavour and enterprise.
